This is the entry-level diagnostic — want the full pipeline?
This checker flags obvious problems, but a production listing also needs English→German localization, model-number & unit preservation, glossary enforcement, and a back-translation quality gate. That's what the ListLoco API does — one POST call returns a gate-verified, marketplace-compliant German listing.

Title character limit
Amazon DE enforces a 200-character title limit for most categories. Titles that exceed this are suppressed before they ever go live.
Banned & restricted words
Absolute claims (bestseller, garantiert), superlatives (beste, perfekt), and health/medical efficacy terms (heilung, antibakteriell) are disallowed on Amazon Germany and trigger listing suppression.
Why machine translation fails
Generic MT engines routinely introduce banned terms when translating marketing copy — "guaranteed" becomes "garantiert", "best" becomes "beste". The ListLoco API detects and blocks these before they reach the marketplace.
